Transport Engineer

About the role

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking a dedicated Transport Engineer to design, plan, and manage transportation systems that deliver efficient and sustainable mobility solutions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies that meet project goals and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct transportation studies, including traffic analysis, demand forecasting, and impact assessments.
• Design and evaluate transport networks such as roads, transit, pedestrian, and cycling infrastructure.
• Develop transportation models and simulations to support design decisions.
• Prepare technical reports, designs, and specifications for transportation projects.
• Coordinate with government agencies, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues during construction phases.
• Promote sustainable transport solutions and best engineering practices.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for transport projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in transportation planning, design, and management.
• Experience working on infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia or similar regions is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with transportation modeling software such as VISSIM.
• Proficiency with transportation modeling software such as TransCAD.
• Proficiency with transportation modeling software such as SYNCHRO.
