VP of Finance – High‑Growth Tech & AI Company

About the role

The capital formation team is looking for a hands‑on VP of Finance to join the leadership team of a fast‑growing technology and AI company in Riyadh. The role will be a strategic partner to the CEO, guiding the firm through its IPO on the Saudi Exchange and shaping long‑term financial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Drive IPO readiness, covering financial structuring, regulatory compliance, shareholder engagement and Tadawul listing requirements.
• Lead company‑wide financial strategy, including planning, forecasting, capital allocation and investor relations.
• Manage and mentor the Finance Director and the broader finance team.
• Partner with the CEO on board‑level presentations, investor communications and high‑stakes strategic decisions.
• Establish robust financial controls, reporting frameworks and governance structures suitable for a listed entity.
• Apply deep knowledge of the technology and AI sector to shape financial models and support growth strategy.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in technology, AI or technology consulting.
• Hands‑on experience taking a company through a full IPO process.
• Direct experience in the Saudi market; familiarity with Tadawul is a strong advantage.
• Arabic proficiency and Saudi nationality are strongly preferred.
• Degree from an elite institution (e.g., Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford) and professional certification (ACCA, CPA or CMA).
• Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate.
