Account Manager

About the role

The Account Manager role combines sales and customer service to drive revenue, acquire new customers, and retain existing ones. You will act as the primary liaison for a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring their needs are met and business opportunities are maximized.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of existing client accounts and develop account plans with short‑term and long‑term objectives.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all account‑related issues, addressing complaints and maintaining trust.
• Analyze market and sales data to identify strategies, forecast performance, and uncover new business opportunities.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, present product value, and gather feedback for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill customer requests and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.
• Identify target markets, monitor competition, and brief prospective customers on products and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in logistics and shipping.
• Strong business acumen and industry knowledge to address customer needs effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
