Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing statutory filings, and supporting the month‑end close for entities within the CRI and ABAC groups. This role combines general ledger management, tax compliance, payroll processing, and audit support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate trial balances for active entities under CRI Group and ABAC Group.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including adjustments, accruals, and pre‑payments.
• Perform monthly closing activities and reconcile all key ledger accounts, including intercompany transactions.
• Record financial transactions in the accounting system promptly and accurately.
• Execute bank reconciliations, vendor and customer account reconciliations, and keep ledgers clean.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Compile management reports, financial summaries, and variance analyses as required.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated group financials.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, corporate income tax filings, and other statutory reports for each jurisdiction.
• Process monthly payroll, ensuring correct calculation of salaries, deductions, benefits, and statutory contributions.
• Manage end‑to‑end accounts payable, including invoice verification, coding, and timely payments.
• Track accounts receivable, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of accounting processes.
