Application Operations Lead

About the role

We are looking for an Application Operations Lead to oversee the design, daily operation and reliability of critical applications across the organisation. The role involves health‑checking applications, managing changes and automating routine tasks to ensure high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple enterprise applications to ensure scalability, reliability and availability.
• Design and implement application operations strategies and monitoring solutions.
• Conduct daily application health checks and post‑change verification.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews and root‑cause analysis.
• Develop dashboards and reports on application uptime and SLA metrics.
• Document deployment procedures, cold‑start processes and critical services.
• Collaborate with internal customers, development teams and application owners.
• Plan and execute maintenance activities and drive process automation using scripts and tools such as Ansible.
• Provide technical support related to IAM, PAM and cyber‑security rules.
• Identify usage trends, recommend cost‑saving measures and share knowledge within the support team.

Required profile

• Minimum 84 months (7 years) of experience in application operations or IT service management.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and obtaining relevant certifications.
• Strong analytical skills to perform trend analysis and root‑cause investigations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
