Architectural Engineer

About the role

The Architectural Engineer will support the delivery of retail fit‑out projects across our Riyadh mall portfolio. You will ensure that tenant designs meet the approved design criteria, mall standards and Saudi building regulations while coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review tenant concept, detailed architectural and fit‑out drawing submissions for compliance with design criteria and mall standards.
• Coordinate architectural requirements with Leasing, Development, FM, Operations, MEP disciplines, tenants and consultants.
• Monitor tenant fit‑out works on site from commencement through completion, conducting inspections and identifying design deviations.
• Review material samples, mock‑ups, finishes and architectural details, and manage corrective actions for non‑compliant works.
• Maintain accurate records of approved drawings, comments, inspections, approvals and site observations.
• Support tenant unit completion, final handover and architectural snagging, ensuring timely rectification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• 3–5 years of experience in architectural design, retail fit‑out, interior architecture or tenant coordination.
• Proven experience reviewing architectural drawings, material selections and site installations.
• Practical knowledge of shopfronts, façades, finishes and retail interior fit‑out processes.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code requirements and landlord‑tenant technical coordination.
