Associate Director Key Accounts

About the role

The Associate Director Key Accounts will lead and expand SADAFCO's strategic partnerships with major national and regional retailers. Reporting to the Director – Key Accounts, you will own the translation of commercial strategy into actionable account plans, driving profitable growth and strengthening senior‑level relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall relationship strategy for a portfolio of key national retailers, acting as the senior escalation point and leading top‑to‑top negotiations.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Key Account Managers, setting KPIs, managing performance, and building succession pipelines.
• Own the annual Joint Business Planning process, set trade‑investment strategy, and allocate promotional budgets based on ROI.
• Maintain responsibility for portfolio‑level P&L, sales forecasts, market share, and EBIT contribution, reporting results to senior leadership.
• Identify systemic execution gaps across accounts and drive corrective actions, ensuring consistent commercial discipline.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior key‑account or commercial leadership roles within FMCG or related sectors.
• Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and managing large, complex account portfolios.
• Excellent leadership, talent development, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Category Management, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain teams.
