Audit Manager

About the role

The Audit Manager will lead the planning, execution, and oversight of internal and external audit activities for Ajlan Bros Mining and its joint‑venture partners. This position provides independent assurance to the Audit Committee on internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance processes, supporting operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual internal and external audit plan aligned with organizational risk priorities.
• Conduct audits of financial, operational, legal, and compliance processes across the company and joint ventures.
• Identify key risks, evaluate risk management practices, and recommend improvements to internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports for senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Monitor corrective action implementation and report progress.
• Support external audits and regulatory inspections as required.
• Introduce best practices in auditing and stay updated on regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or ACCA preferred.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in the mining, metals, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
