Business Developer – Large Industries

About the role

The Large Industries Business Development (LIBD) team is looking for a Business Developer to drive growth of multi‑million‑dollar projects across oil refining, chemical, petrochemical and steel sectors. You will combine strategy, commercial acumen, finance and project management to shape and close high‑value opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with large corporations in target industries.
• Identify customer needs, analyse projects, and develop winning commercial proposals.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams (engineering, legal, finance) to define scope, cost and schedule.
• Prepare investment committee materials and manage internal decision‑making processes.
• Develop and control financial models for pricing and investment decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• 5–10 years of business development experience involving investment decisions.
• Knowledge of refining, chemical, petrochemical processes or energy transition considerations is advantageous.
