Business Development & Client Relations Specialist

About the role

The Business Development & Client Relations Specialist will drive growth for KAUST Academy by identifying new customers across Saudi Arabia, managing relationships, and shaping tailored training solutions that support Vision 2030 workforce objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new customers in government, semi‑government and private sectors for KAUST Academy’s training programs.
• Prepare and deliver professional pitch presentations and develop go‑to‑market strategies with annual targets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries, analyse training needs and coordinate with the Academic team to design customised solutions.
• Maintain a customer relationship database tracking interactions, pipeline status and follow‑up actions.
• Manage all Etimad platform activities, including supplier registration, tender submissions and compliance with government procurement rules.
• Monitor market trends and provide actionable insights to senior management for strategic planning.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience in business development, client relations or related fields.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market and government procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a track record of securing new contracts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic and operations teams to translate client needs into program proposals.
