Business Development Manager – Engineering & Infrastructure

About the role

DAR Engineering is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. The role blends engineering credibility with commercial acumen to capture new opportunities in building design, infrastructure projects and energy distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new business in building design, infrastructure and power‑distribution projects.
• Develop and execute a business‑development strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, government entities, contractors and strategic partners.
• Monitor market trends, tenders and mega‑project pipelines to spot opportunities.
• Lead client engagement from initial approach through proposal submission and contract negotiation.
• Coordinate with technical, design and bid teams to ensure accurate, value‑focused proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical or related).
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including business development in engineering or consultancy firms.
• Proven track record of winning new contracts and managing long‑term client relationships.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency highly preferred.
• Established network in Saudi Arabia and familiarity with Vision 2030 mega‑projects.
