About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for a leading global logistics provider operating across air, sea, and land. Based in Riyadh, the role focuses on expanding the client base, increasing revenue, and ensuring long‑term sustainability through strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement business development strategies to achieve long‑term growth and revenue targets.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients to maximise retention and upsell opportunities.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, including inbound leads and outbound prospecting.
• Develop compelling proposals and lead negotiations to secure favourable terms.
• Research market trends, industry opportunities, and competitive landscape to keep the business responsive.
• Open new accounts, establish credit facilities, and oversee smooth onboarding processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3‑5 years of business development experience within the Saudi Arabian market.
• Proven experience in the freight forwarding or logistics sector.
• Strong understanding of local business culture, regulations, and a solid network of contacts.
