Business Development Manager – Payments

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth for a fast‑growing fintech company in Saudi Arabia. You will lead the acquisition of corporate clients for digital payment and financial‑service solutions across the Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and acquire new corporate clients throughout Saudi Arabia.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, cold outreach, networking and referrals.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
• Develop and execute business‑development strategies to increase revenue and market presence.
• Establish long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and high‑quality service.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, forecasting and sales activity.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments in the Saudi financial‑services market.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in business development, sales or account management, preferably in payments, fintech, banking, FX or financial services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and sales targets.
• Strong hunting mentality with the ability to generate and convert opportunities independently.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Comfortable engaging senior decision‑makers and navigating complex consultative sales cycles.
• Commercially driven, self‑motivated and able to thrive in a target‑focused environment.
