Carpenter – Hotel Engineering

About the role

The Carpenter will maintain and improve all wooden elements throughout the hotel, ensuring a safe and high‑quality guest environment. This position works within the Engineering department and supports both routine maintenance and renovation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective carpentry maintenance across the property.
• Repair, maintain, and replace doors, windows, furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden fixtures.
• Install, assemble, modify, and finish wooden structures and fittings as required.
• Inspect facilities, identify maintenance needs, and respond promptly to work orders.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and related materials using appropriate tools.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness and safety.
• Coordinate with other engineering team members during renovations.
• Report material requirements and help manage spare‑parts inventory.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational/trade certificate in Carpentry or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or commercial facility.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
• Basic English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
