Category Procurement Manager

About the role

The Category Procurement Manager will own the full procurement lifecycle for a designated marketing category, driving cost efficiency and supplier excellence. You will work across borders to support international procurement needs while shaping strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage demand consolidation, sourcing, commercial negotiation, contract execution, and delivery for the marketing category.
• Lead supplier development, evaluation, KPI setting, and performance management to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery.
• Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to adjust procurement strategies proactively.
• Build and refine category management frameworks and explore new procurement models that support business growth.
• Drive cost control and optimization through negotiation, contract management, and process improvement.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve procurement challenges effectively.
• Support cross‑border and international procurement activities as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years on the client/buyer side.
• Prior experience in marketing‑related procurement is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of internet industry procurement dynamics and solid business acumen.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High professional integrity, resilience under pressure, and sharp market instincts.
• Business‑level English proficiency (read, write, speak, listen) is required.
