Chemist

About the role

The Chemist will be responsible for conducting chemical, microbiological and physical analyses on raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) specifications. This role supports the quality team by providing accurate data for product release and by training operators on basic testing procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform chemical, microbiological and physical analyses of incoming raw materials such as water, plastic resin, colorants and other sensitive items.
• Implement and follow the QMS plan for all testing activities.
• Assist the Quality Head with data collection required for product release procedures.
• Train operators and technicians on simple analytical tests relevant to their work areas.
• Prepare and manage documentation, including test reports and receiving check reports.
• Report any abnormalities through quality deviation notifications and initiate immediate corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Proficiency in standard computer applications, particularly MS Office.
