Construction Supervisor – Electrical & ELV

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Construction Supervisor specialized in Electrical and ELV systems to oversee all electrical construction activities on a high‑rise tower project. You will ensure that installations meet safety standards, technical specifications, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate electrical tests such as ground‑fault, insulation resistance, polarity, continuity, and load testing.
• Inspect electrical equipment installations, witness testing, and energization activities.
• Prepare progress reports on the electrical scope of the project.
• Ensure safety compliance for all electrical work on site.
• Review contractor shop drawings and documents, flagging issues that could affect system stability or function.
• Liaise with senior electrical engineers and other project managers to provide technical guidance.
• Maintain daily documentation of contractor performance and field checks of equipment, ducts, conduits, cables, and panels.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in a technical or construction‑related discipline.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in electrical construction for high‑rise buildings.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.
• Experience with electrical testing and equipment inspection.
• Familiarity with construction documentation review and safety monitoring.
