Cost Control Engineer – Construction & Hospitality Projects

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Cost Control Engineer to join our Project Controls team and support luxury hotel, hospitality and high‑end fit‑out projects. The role will ensure accurate cost capture, monitoring and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs, budgets, forecasts, commitments and cash flow.
• Track financial performance, identify variances and potential overruns.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports with budget status, actuals, commitments and variance analysis.
• Maintain cost‑control records, cost codes and budget allocations.
• Review purchase requests, orders, invoices and subcontractor commitments.
• Support budget planning, cost optimisation and financial forecasting for Project Management and Commercial teams.
• Verify site progress, quantities and productivity against cost data.
• Manage variations, change orders and update cost‑to‑complete and estimate‑at‑completion figures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
• 3–7 years of experience in cost control, project controls or commercial roles within construction, fit‑out or hospitality projects.
• Proven experience on high‑end hotel, resort or interior fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of construction and fit‑out cost structures.
