Customer Solution Design Engineer (MP)

About the role

KONE is looking for an energetic Customer Solution Design Engineer (MP) to join its early‑engagement team in Saudi Arabia. You will act as the technical bridge between the sales force and the customer, turning client requirements into optimal KONE elevator and escalator solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Read, analyse and sort customer drawings, raising RFIs when conflicts arise.
• Create accurate 2D layout drawings and 3D models that comply with KONE KOS standards and customer document control procedures.
• Collaborate with sales to design non‑standard technical solutions, select the appropriate product platform and propose offerings across all KONE business lines.
• Participate in customer meetings, answer technical questions and ensure final KONE drawings align with IFC and SL layout drawings.
• Provide technical training to sales, installation and maintenance teams and contribute input to product‑offering management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the elevator business or a closely related field.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic.
