Data Architect

About the role

The Data Architect will define, design and govern the enterprise data architecture that underpins the organization’s modernization, analytics and digital transformation initiatives. You will ensure scalable, secure and compliant data platforms that enable trusted, data‑driven decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture strategy, standards, principles and target‑state blueprint.
• Design and implement scalable data warehouse, data lake and lakehouse solutions on‑premises and in the cloud.
• Lead conceptual, logical and physical data‑modeling activities using industry‑standard methodologies.
• Architect batch and real‑time data integration pipelines, including streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka and Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions.
• Establish data‑governance, master data management, metadata, lineage and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, regulatory and banking residency requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and architectural patterns to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, solution architects and technology teams to produce blueprints, roadmaps and technical decision documentation.
• Review solution designs, mentor technical teams and support data‑modernization, cloud‑migration and analytics transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as TOGAF, Cloudera, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture or Enterprise Data Management.
• Proven track record designing and delivering enterprise‑scale data warehouse and lakehouse solutions.
• Hands‑on experience defining architecture strategies, governance frameworks and real‑time/batch integration architectures.
