Data Visualization & Automation Engineer

About the role

Norconsult Telematics is seeking a Data Visualization & Automation Engineer to turn complex data sets into clear, actionable dashboards and automated reports. The role supports both operational and strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI, Tableau and web‑based dashboards.
• Automate standard and executive reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements and translate them into intuitive visualisations.
• Apply UX principles to ensure dashboards are user‑friendly and visually compelling.
• Implement ETL processes and data integration from multiple sources.
• Write Python scripts or workflows for data manipulation, automation and advanced analytics.
• Incorporate AI‑driven insights to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Monitor, validate and continuously improve dashboard performance and data quality.
• Document reporting processes, data sources and dashboard logic.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in data visualisation, business intelligence or related fields.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and deliver high‑quality solutions.
