Dermatology Consultant

About the role

The Dermatology Consultant will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients within Fakeeh Care facilities. This role involves thorough patient assessment, development of evidence‑based treatment plans, and coordination of inpatient and outpatient services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties in accordance with assigned privileges and document all assessments and interventions in the medical record.
• Conduct holistic patient evaluations covering clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional aspects.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based care plans, ensuring timely execution and daily progress note updates using the SOAP format.
• Serve as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for admitted inpatients, create discharge plans on admission day, and coordinate with discharge‑planning services.
• Respond promptly to medical consultations, complete discharge summaries, and provide patient education on medications and follow‑up care.
• Participate in departmental meetings, teaching rounds, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Fakeeh’s person‑centered care values.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to safety protocols, and uphold the organization’s code of conduct.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in Dermatology and appropriate clinical privileges.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, physicians, and multidisciplinary staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
