Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will ensure the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems across construction projects. This includes power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and control systems, while guaranteeing compliance with local building codes and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate electrical systems into project designs.
• Conduct inspections to verify adherence to local building codes and project specifications.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
• Identify and resolve electrical system defects, recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and project progress.
• Prepare performance and compliance reports for electrical systems.
• Review and approve electrical materials and equipment for site installation.
• Supervise system testing, grounding, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering within construction projects.
• Strong problem‑solving, technical, math, and science skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
