Engineer II, Production Operations

About the role

The Engineer II, Production Operations supports daily activities of asphalt, crusher and concrete plants, ensuring that production plans are executed efficiently and safely. This role works closely with the Production Manager and Mining Engineer to maintain workflow, equipment availability and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily operations of asphalt, crusher and concrete plants according to approved schedules.
• Monitor plant performance, material consumption and production data to optimise efficiency.
• Coordinate production schedules with the Production Manager and Mining Engineer.
• Assist in planning and executing maintenance during breakdowns or shutdowns to minimise downtime.
• Support product quality by following process parameters and liaising with the quality team.
• Prepare and submit daily and shift production reports.
• Provide on‑site support to plant operators and helpers during shifts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑6 years of experience in asphalt plant, concrete plant or crusher production operations.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and safety protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.
