Facade Architect (Site Supervision)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Facade Architect to lead the design, engineering, and on‑site supervision of façade systems for commercial and residential projects in Riyadh. You will ensure that every façade installation complies with design specifications, Saudi Building Code standards, and quality requirements while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Design and engineer curtain walls, cladding, and glazing solutions that meet project and Saudi Building Code requirements.
• Supervise on‑site façade installation, verifying compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality‑control assessments to promptly resolve construction issues.
• Analyze structural and architectural constraints to develop innovative, cost‑effective façade solutions.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and material schedules.
• Coordinate façade work with architects, structural engineers, and contractors.
• Manage façade budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and training to on‑site teams on installation procedures and safety protocols.
• Document project progress through reports, photographs, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in façade design, engineering, or architecture.
• Proven expertise in curtain walls, cladding, and glazing installations.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, especially the Saudi Building Code.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.
• Demonstrated experience in on‑site supervision and quality control.
• Experience with high‑rise or complex façade projects and sustainable, energy‑efficient solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings with meticulous attention to detail.
