Facility Operator

About the role

The Facility Operator will join the Facility & Administration Department, reporting to the Facility Supervisor. You will be responsible for daily operation and monitoring of essential building systems to ensure uninterrupted electricity, HVAC, water, and sewage services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor electrical, HVAC, water and sewage systems.
• Conduct daily inspections of buildings and service areas.
• Record daily readings for electricity, water and system status.
• Identify and promptly report abnormal conditions or faults.
• Receive maintenance requests and forward them to the appropriate team or contractor.
• Follow up on maintenance activities until completion and verify proper functioning after work.
• Coordinate with contractors during on‑site maintenance and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Support emergency response for power outages, leakages or system failures.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to EHSS requirements.
• Escalate critical issues to management and ensure continuous operation of facility services.

Required profile

• High school diploma or relevant technical diploma.
• Minimum 2 years experience in facility services or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of facility systems (operations, maintenance, general services).
• Awareness of safety procedures and EHSS requirements.
• Good observation, follow‑up and basic communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergencies.
