AutoCAD Draftsman – Engineering & Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman to join our engineering and project teams in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings that meet technical standards for engineering, architectural, and facility projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings based on project specifications and technical inputs.
• Develop, modify, and update engineering and architectural drawings as required.
• Review sketches, specifications, and site information to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and technical teams to resolve drawing‑related issues.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document‑control requirements.
• Produce layouts, plans, sections, elevations, details, and as‑built drawings.
• Support material take‑offs and quantity calculations from drawings.
• Conduct site visits when needed to verify dimensions and collect technical data.
• Incorporate site changes, comments, and approved modifications into drawings.
• Maintain organized electronic records and ensure stakeholders have access to the latest revisions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman.
• Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work both in the office and on‑site as required.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (proficient)
• Knowledge of drafting standards, dimensions, scales, symbols, and conventions
• AutoCAD certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max (preferred)
