Floorhand (Floorman) – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Floorhand (also known as Floorman) works on the rig floor in Saudi Arabia, performing essential manual labour and supporting drilling operations. This role is critical for safe and efficient rig set‑up, maintenance and daily activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rig up and rig down activities, including “nippling up or nippling down” of the blowout preventer stack.
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance on major and minor rig components.
• Assist the Derrickhand with mud‑mixing duties and support the Motorhand as required.
• Conduct assigned activities on the rig floor while adhering to H&P safety standards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date WorkDay trainings and ensure compliance with H&P policies and Saudi drilling legislation.
