GIS I&C Engineer – High Voltage Systems Installation

About the role

We are looking for a motivated GIS I&C Engineer to join our global team. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high‑voltage GIS systems for PGHV projects worldwide, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out independent installation and maintenance of GIS equipment on live systems.
• Prepare and update red‑mark drawings and documentation reflecting on‑site changes.
• Coordinate with sub‑suppliers, project managers, and installation superintendents to meet project deadlines.
• Inspect incoming material, manage material handling, and issue non‑conformance reports when needed.
• Supervise final installation tests, loop checks, and commissioning activities.
• Participate in site meetings and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience with GIS installations.
• Familiarity with SF6 gas handling and PGHV transmission/sub‑transmission GIS products.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
