Head Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a Head Nurse to lead the cardiac interventional unit in our Riyadh hospital. The role involves overseeing nursing care for patients undergoing percutaneous procedures such as PTCA, stent implantation, valvuloplasty and catheter ablations, as well as managing critical conditions like cardiogenic shock and device malfunctions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff delivering care for cardiac interventional procedures.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
• Manage acute cases including cardiogenic shock, hypertensive crises, endocarditis, and device complications.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, training and performance evaluation of nursing team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Registered Nurse with country‑specific post‑registration program.
• Current RN licensure from country of origin.
• Minimum six years of hospital nursing experience, including at least two years in a leadership role.
