Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for managing the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and compliance with hotel standards and procedures. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating with other departments, and handling guest complaints.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily housekeeping operations.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the hotel.
• Supervise and develop the housekeeping team.
• Plan staff schedules and allocate daily tasks.
• Monitor guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house areas.
• Control housekeeping supplies, linen, and inventory.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance departments.
• Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping professionally.
• Monitor departmental costs and minimize wastage.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety, and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in hotels.
• Previous hotel experience is required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
