HSE Officer

About the role

Join one of the world’s largest food companies as an HSE Officer, supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety & Environment standards across operations. You will work on-site in Jeddah, contributing to a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, ergonomic evaluations and fire protection activities.
• Record, follow‑up and investigate incidents, accidents, near‑misses and environmental emergencies.
• Monitor HSE KPIs, contribute to safety committees and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Maintain and update HSE procedures, records, reports and provide documentation to authorities.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and ensure firefighting systems are up‑to‑date.
• Support purchase requests for HSE‑related goods and collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics and HR teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Health, Safety & Environment or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HSE experience, preferably in food processing or manufacturing.
• Relevant HSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH and/or OSHA) and required professional registration.
• Native Arabic speaker with business‑level English.
• Willingness to work six days per week on site, based in or willing to relocate to Jeddah.
