Income Auditor

About the role

We are seeking an Income Auditor to join the Finance team at a leading hotel in Riyadh. The role is essential for ensuring daily revenue is accurately recorded, verified and reported in line with IHG standards and Saudi regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and verify daily revenue from rooms, food & beverage and other hotel outlets.
• Reconcile revenue reports with cash, credit‑card and accounts‑receivable transactions.
• Review rebates, voids, discounts and complimentary transactions for proper authorization.
• Prepare and distribute daily revenue and audit reports.
• Perform daily reconciliations between the Property Management System (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) and accounting records.
• Support month‑end closing activities, revenue reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist internal and external auditors by maintaining accurate financial records.
• Identify revenue discrepancies and work with operational departments to resolve them promptly.
• Ensure compliance with IHG financial policies, internal controls and local statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in income audit, accounting or hotel finance.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
