About the role
Join the ICT team at Al Salama Hospital to design, build, and maintain HL7 and Mirth Connect integrations across hospital systems and medical devices. You will ensure secure, reliable data exchange that complies with Ministry of Health and JCI/CBAHI standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain HL7 interfaces and Mirth Connect channels.
- Integrate medical devices such as laboratory equipment, radiology systems, and patient monitors with core hospital applications.
- Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve interface failures.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and support system upgrades and go‑live activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field (Master’s or certifications are a plus).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare systems integration.
- Familiarity with Ministry of Health and JCI/CBAHI compliance requirements.
Required skills
- HL7 messaging standards.
- Mirth Connect integration engine.
- Python programming (optional but advantageous).
