Learning Officer – Training & Development

About the role

The Learning Officer will drive training excellence across Chanel boutiques in the Middle East region, ensuring that teams deliver outstanding client experiences and uphold the brand’s fashion expertise. Reporting to the Learning Manager, the role blends curriculum design, on‑floor coaching, and performance measurement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and communicate training sessions in close collaboration with the Middle East and India training team.
• Develop and deliver collection, client‑experience, and briefing trainings tailored to boutique needs.
• Identify boutique subject‑matter experts to co‑facilitate sessions and morning briefs.
• Adapt training content based on boutique feedback and management input, ensuring sessions are engaging and business‑focused.
• Coach all boutique roles on the floor, creating action plans that use coaching as a performance lever.
• Foster a culture of continuous feedback and coaching within each boutique.
• Coordinate with Learning Manager, Brand Manager, HR, and boutique management to track new‑starter progress and pre‑work completion.
• Conduct refresher trainings, follow‑ups, and floor observations to embed learning.
• Produce regular qualitative and quantitative reports, establishing KPIs to measure training effectiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a dedicated training role.
• Experience in luxury retail or footwear is a plus.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Warm, humble attitude with excellent observation and listening skills.
• Fashion sensibility, awareness of trends and culture.
• High emotional and situational intelligence.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with superb written and verbal communication.
