Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead the MRO facility’s maintenance team, ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and on‑time aircraft delivery. This senior role combines technical oversight, workforce planning, quality assurance, and customer interaction to sustain high airworthiness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily base maintenance activities and balance rosters according to production forecasts.
• Coordinate team leaders, allocate workload by aircraft zones, and manage critical path control during checks.
• Ensure all work follows Part‑145, OEM instructions and Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) requirements.
• Oversee troubleshooting, defect rectification, and handover processes with the Flight Line team.
• Maintain strict compliance with EASA and GACA regulations, support internal quality audits and implement corrective actions.
• Lead a multi‑level technical team, certify staff, plan shift schedules and drive competency development.
• Promote safety culture, enforce FOD control, tool control and PPE standards.

Required profile

• Active AML licence (B1/B2, preferably C) recognized by ICAO.
• Minimum 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role within base maintenance.
• Proven ability to manage high‑pressure, multi‑project environments and heavy checks.
• Fluent English (C1 level) and strong knowledge of aviation regulations.
