Manufacturing Assembly Technician – Transformer

About the role

As a Manufacturing Assembly Technician you will work on the production line for high‑quality transformers, performing hands‑on operations that directly support reliable energy solutions. You will join Siemens Energy’s Grid Technology division, contributing to projects that enable a sustainable and digital power grid.

Key responsibilities

• Perform active‑part drying operations following standard work instructions and monitor process data.
• Assemble tank accessories according to drawings, conduct self‑inspections and ensure quality compliance.
• Execute active‑part in‑tanking tasks, including tightening and installing components to specification.
• Carry out vacuum and oil‑filling procedures, maintain equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Disassemble transformers after testing, prepare accessories for delivery, and manage packaging and storage.
• Uphold safety, quality, and 5S practices to keep the work environment clean and organized.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational/technical certificate; technical training in electrical or mechanical trades preferred.
• Experience in transformer or heavy electrical equipment manufacturing is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding production environment and willingness to work shifts.
• Basic proficiency in English and Arabic for effective communication.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving and equipment maintenance.
