Mechanical Design Engineer/Lead - Data Centre

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer/Lead to drive the design and engineering of data centre projects. The role focuses on HVAC, cooling, ventilation and related mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with international codes and data‑centre standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute mechanical design activities for data centre projects.
• Develop and review HVAC and mechanical system designs, calculations, layouts, schematics and technical specifications.
• Prepare and review equipment sizing, heat‑load, pressure‑drop calculations and equipment schedules.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, civil/structural, fire & life safety, BMS and other disciplines.
• Monitor design deliverables to meet quality, cost and schedule requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong experience in HVAC and mechanical building services design.
• Experience on data centre, mission‑critical or large‑scale commercial/industrial projects is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, HAP/TRACE or equivalent design tools.
• Ability to perform heat‑load, pressure‑drop and equipment sizing calculations.
