Planning Manager

About the role

WSP is looking for an experienced Planning Manager to lead planning, scheduling and programme coordination for major projects during the pre‑contract phase. The role sits within the Project Management Consultancy team and supports the delivery of large‑scale developments across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop integrated master programmes and schedule hierarchies for complex portfolios, programmes and individual projects.
• Establish planning standards, scheduling methodologies, governance processes and reporting frameworks.
• Prepare programme roadmaps, delivery strategies and align project schedules with portfolio priorities.
• Coordinate interfaces between consultants, stakeholders and delivery teams to maintain schedule integrity.
• Support risk, dependency and constraint assessments and contribute to value‑engineering initiatives.
• Produce baseline programmes, procurement and design schedules, and critical‑path analyses for feasibility studies and tender evaluations.
• Consolidate project, portfolio and programme data into executive reports and digital dashboards for senior leadership decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years (180 months) of experience in project, programme and portfolio planning within a Project Management Consultancy.
• Proven track record delivering planning solutions for large‑scale developments.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience presenting performance insights to senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Power Bi for dashboard creation and data visualisation.
• Proficiency with Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
