Planning Scheduler

About the role

The Planning Scheduler will support project delivery by creating, maintaining and analysing detailed schedules using Primavera P6. This role works closely with engineering, procurement, construction and subcontractor teams to ensure project timelines are met and risks are managed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6, including baseline, recovery and look‑ahead schedules.
• Monitor actual progress against approved baselines and identify schedule deviations.
• Collect progress updates from all project disciplines and perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis.
• Track milestones, deliverables and contractual dates, and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Generate S‑Curves, manpower histograms, progress curves and productivity reports.
• Update resource loading, activity progress, remaining durations and forecast dates.
• Coordinate with project teams to identify delays, constraints and potential schedule risks.
• Support preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) and delay analysis documentation.
• Review subcontractor schedules and monitor their performance against approved programmes.
• Participate in progress meetings and provide scheduling updates to management and clients.
