Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

The Purchasing Coordinator supports the supply chain by planning material requirements, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and documentation. This position works closely with suppliers, the Central Logistics Department, and internal teams to maintain smooth procurement operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the Material Requirement Plan (MRP) for the upcoming month.
• Create and send purchase orders to suppliers.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of documents and orders.
• Coordinate with the Central Logistics Department for shipment clearance and obtain freight quotations for FOB shipments.
• Work with the Import/Export department to issue required shipment certificates (e.g., Saber, FASAH, Value Chains).
• Submit invoices to the accounting department promptly and raise claims for missing or non‑conforming materials.
• Track customs duty exemptions for raw materials and prepare inter‑company transfer requests (TR).
• Assist the planning department by providing needed materials based on shortage lists.
• Collaborate with product managers to renew Certificates of Conformity and ensure warehouse teams receive orders before detention.
• Prepare monthly reports and support accounting in settling supplier dues.
