QA/QC Specialist

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced QA/QC Specialist to lead inspection, surveillance, and quality assurance activities across heavy‑infrastructure projects. You will work closely with construction teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure all work meets stringent health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily inspection, surveillance, and QA activities on project sites.
• Stop work when serious breaches of health, safety, environmental, or quality requirements are identified.
• Conduct quality audits and inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, procedures, and project requirements.
• Monitor contractor, subcontractor, and supplier adherence to QA/QC plans, including ITPs and NCR management.
• Maintain oversight of contractor QC inspectors and collaborate with project inspection teams.
• Prepare and maintain As‑Built Quality Records and ensure proper sampling, handling, storage, curing, testing, and documentation.
• Provide regular site surveillance, quality reporting, KPI dashboards, and support corrective actions.
• Participate in supply‑chain QA/QC activities and attend Factory and Site Acceptance Tests as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in heavy infrastructure, civil engineering, rail, or metro projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Proven ability to review quality documentation, inspection records, testing reports, and compliance requirements.
