Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Fintech team, focusing on billing and payment systems. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while ensuring high product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for applications and services.
• Test APIs, validate responses and verify data integrity.
• Build, maintain, and run automated test scripts for backend services.
• Write SQL queries to confirm data accuracy in databases.
• Document and track defects, collaborating closely with developers.
• Work with technical teams to guarantee product quality before release.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of QA experience, preferably in Fintech billing or payment systems.
• Solid understanding of API and backend service testing.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation, including API contracts.
• Experience with SOAP services, XML services, and third‑party integrations.
• Good knowledge of the finance domain.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• ISTQB‑FL and ISTQB‑TA certifications are preferred.
