Quantity Surveyor / Claims Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Claims Engineer to join our infrastructure construction team in Jeddah. The role involves managing commercial aspects of projects, from measurement and cost control to claims evaluation and contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review quantity take‑offs, bills of quantities, measurement records and interim payment applications.
• Assess and process contractor claims, change requests, delay notices and supporting documentation.
• Analyse quantities, rates and contractual entitlements to determine cost impacts.
• Support contract administration, negotiate variations and track commercial risks.
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, engineers and client representatives on commercial matters.
• Maintain accurate records of quantities, payments, variations and claims.
• Produce cost reports, claim assessments and commercial status updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field (professional membership preferred).
• 7‑10 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost control, contract administration and claims review on infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of measurement, BOQ preparation, interim payments, variation orders and dispute avoidance.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
