Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of accounting principles, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Handle Zakat, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Withholding Tax in line with ZATCA regulations.
• Prepare, review, and submit tax and Zakat returns accurately and on time.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and obtain necessary approvals for all financial transactions.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors, supplying required documentation and explanations.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Utilize ERP and accounting systems efficiently.
• Support management with financial analysis and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• CMA certification preferred.
• Prior experience in IT or technology companies is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using ERP systems.
