Senior Accounting Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Consultant to join the Finance department of a leading asset management company in Riyadh. This six‑month fixed‑term assignment will focus on financial planning, budgeting and management reporting across investment, brokerage and fund‑management divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans across multiple business units.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly management reports with variance analysis and KPI tracking.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against established targets and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes.
• Support investment, brokerage, and fund‑management teams with financial insights and scenario analysis.
• Ensure compliance with capital market regulations, Saudi regulations, and internal governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal audit, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and support to senior management on strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting in complex financial environments.
• Experience with capital market institutions, banks, investment firms, or asset management companies in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
• Strong understanding of investment products, brokerage operations, and fund‑management accounting.
• Familiarity with SAMA regulations, Saudization requirements, and local accounting standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Proficiency with reporting tools and enterprise financial systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
