Senior Construction Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead on‑site activities for a large mixed‑use development in Saudi Arabia. The role sits within Mace’s integrated delivery partner team and is responsible for safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery across multiple work packages.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day construction operations, ensuring alignment with programme, budget and quality targets.
• Act as the main interface between contractors, consultants and the delivery partner team to coordinate and resolve site issues.
• Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations, approved methodologies and construction plans.
• Champion health, safety and environmental standards, embedding a proactive safety culture.
• Review and validate construction sequencing, logistics and methodology plans.
• Manage interface points between disciplines, packages and stakeholders to minimise disruption and rework.
• Provide leadership to Construction Managers and site teams, fostering a collaborative high‑performance environment.
• Support progress reporting, risk management and escalation of key issues.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive senior‑level experience on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record working within a PMC, consultancy or delivery partner environment on complex, fast‑paced developments.
• Deep commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
