Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical works of a high‑profile cultural project in Abha, Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing design, installation, testing and commissioning of power distribution, lighting, low‑current and fire‑alarm systems, and ensuring seamless integration with the Building Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve electrical design drawings, shop drawings and technical submittals, ensuring compliance with SBC, NFPA, IEC and museum standards.
• Prepare load schedules, single‑line diagrams and as‑built documentation, and provide technical support on‑site.
• Supervise installation of power distribution, grounding, indoor/outdoor and architectural lighting, generators, transformers, cable routing and electrical rooms.
• Oversee low‑current systems including addressable fire‑alarm, public address, lighting control panels, CCTV, security and master clock, and coordinate their integration with the BMS.
• Manage testing, commissioning and hand‑over activities, delivering as‑built drawings, O&M manuals and training to the client.
• Conduct inspections, issue snag lists and ensure quality, safety and schedule adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering for fit‑out, museum, cultural or large‑scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, ELV systems, lighting and fire‑alarm systems.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code, NFPA and IEC standards.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
