Senior Electrical & Utility Design Engineer

About the role

The Senior Electrical & Utility Design Engineer will join a prestigious mega‑infrastructure project in Riyadh, supporting Saudi Vision 2030 by delivering modern, sustainable transport solutions. The role involves leading the electrical and utility design effort for complex road, bridge and interchange works.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design models and perform calculations.
• Prepare detailed design drawings.
• Verify and review design drawings, calculations and models.
• Prepare and review shop drawings.
• Prepare and review method statements.
• Prepare and review BIM models.
• Prepare and review coordination drawings.
• Produce technical office documents such as reports, presentations and meeting minutes.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in electrical and utility design for roads and infrastructure projects in KSA.
• Hands‑on experience with street lighting, electrical works for tanks and pump stations, and dry utilities networks (HV, MV, LV, Telecom, ITS).
• Strong knowledge of Saudi and international design codes.
