Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to deliver a six‑month enhancement programme for our web platforms. The role will own the frontend architecture, drive technical direction, and ensure production stability while raising code quality, test coverage, performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain production web applications using React and Next.js.
• Own frontend architecture and technical implementation for new features and enhancements.
• Build reusable, scalable component libraries and develop strongly typed applications with TypeScript.
• Integrate REST APIs with authentication, error handling, loading/retry states and data transformation.
• Implement state management using Redux and create responsive, accessible interfaces with Sass/SCSS.
• Develop screens supporting full localization and RTL layout.
• Maintain a complete delivery record in Azure DevOps and work from Azure Boards.
• Own features end‑to‑end, including design, development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Triage and resolve defects, participate in incident investigations and on‑call support rotations.
• Review and improve existing code, architecture, performance and maintainability; conduct code reviews.
• Write and maintain unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests.
• Collaborate with backend, mobile, UI/UX, QA and product stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4–5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with React.js and Next.js.
• Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
• Deep understanding of React hooks, component architecture, design patterns and frontend application architecture.
• Extensive experience with Redux (reducers, actions, selectors, middleware, async handling).
• Proven ability to integrate and consume REST APIs.
• Solid grasp of asynchronous JavaScript (Promises, async/await) and API error handling.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, Sass/SCSS and responsive development.
• Experience building and maintaining large or complex web applications.
• Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, session management and secure API integration.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID single sign‑on integration.
• Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure handling of tokens, cookies and browser storage.
